Awesomeness Volume 3

July 16th, 2009

Today I sat in on my first press conference! It was with the White House Press Secretary and naturally awesome! I loved it! Everyone got to ask him questions about Obama. I didn’t ask anything, but I took awesome notes about everything he said. It was fun and educational. It really showed me what they are like. To be there and experience one is soo different from TV. Right after we listened to some young guys, about 24 or so who were movie reviewers, sports people, or a producer. They really knew how to connnect with us and I really liked them. Posssibly one of my favorite days here. But the best part of today? No, not the Gala tonight.

July 15th, 2009

This is a fake article compossed about todays shooting. Do not take any facts as true or false.
*******************

Today at 5:15 eastern standard time, an unidentified person was shot and killed on Capitol Hill. The person pulled a weapon on police officers who asked the person to set the weapon down and raise both hands. After not complying, the police open fired which caused the person to fire as well. Two officers were injured in the fray.

After a routine traffic stop a block away from the Capitol Building, an unidentified person sped off. The police chased him 100 blocks from Massachusetts Avenue. At 5:15, the man left his vehicle with a weapon in his hands. The police told him to set the weapon down and place his hands above his head. The man did not and the police shot him. The man fired as well, wounding two officers who have since recovered with minor injuries. The unidentified person was rushed to the hospital, and proclaimed dead on arrival.

Capitol spokes man Kate James was tight lipped and clear faced in the press conference held at 9 pm, refusing to release the suspects name, age, motive, or gender.
